Hey there Xrixix here, so today I’ll tell you that how can you make beats. Let’s talk about requirements and equipment. Do you think you need any Instrument to make beat? Answer is no, all you need is just a Music Production Software it’s called DAW also.

What is DAW?

DAW is Digital Audio Workstation which is used in Music Production. There are many DAW like Ableton, Bandlab, FL Studio, Garageband, Logic Pro X, LMMS Studio, Pro Tools available online which helps you to make beats. Some DAWs are free and some are paid.

LMMS Studio is a free DAW. You can download it for free from its official website but I would like to tell you that when I was new in Music Production my first daw was LMMS Studio but soon I uninstalled it because Music Production is not an easy deal. Music Production, beat making sounds DOPE but it’s really very hard for beginners and then I installed FL Studio I didn’t buy it I download a crack version online because it’s too costly. Reason behind using FL Studio was YouTube Tutorial. Yes, there are plenty of FL Studio beat making tutorials available on YouTube you can easily learn it from YouTube. Popular Artist, Rappers, Singers and Music Producer also use FL Studio. Fl Studio’s interface is so entertaining and Fl Studio Provides demo projects to learn how it works.

To make a beat you need a Software name Fl Studio. There are more Software exists like Logic Pro X, Ableton, GarageBand, Protools

How To Make Beats Using DAW?

For making a beat you should have knowledge of Chords, Melody, Drums. Don’t worry its looking hard but its not that hard REMEMBER “Every professional was a beginner”. Let’s talk about these 4 parts of beat.

Chords

Chords are notes which is base of any song and beat. Chords express feel, tells genre.

Melody

Melody tells type of beat like if you want gangster type beat then you can make catchy melody, for horror type beat you can use bell sound.

Drums

Drums are easiest thing to learn. To make drums you need Kick, Clap, Snare, Hi-Hats. Kick sounds Boom, Hi-Hats maintains flow of beats, helps to make trap and emotional beat.
